Searching
Most of the time, you'll be able to find what you're looking for in one of the
Tables of Contents pages. But sometimes you know that the information you
want is somewhere in a THINK Reference database. You can use the Find
command in the Search menu to look for it. The two radio buttons in the Find dialog control how THINK Reference
searches the database.
Button Meaning
Page Search Look for the search text only in the current
entry.
Global Search Look for the search text in the entire database.
All Text Consider all the text in either the page or the
database when searching.
Hyperlinks Only Consider only hyperlinks in the page or the
database when searching.
As you might expect, a global search takes longer than a page search, and an
all text search takes longer than a hyperlinks only search. THINK Reference
organizes its searches so the major pages get searched first.
To search for something you've already entered in the Find dialog,
choose the Find Again command. To cancel a search, use the Escape key or
type Command-Period.
