Setting Preferences
The Preferences command in the Edit menu lets you change the way THINK
Reference works. The options on the left customize THINK Reference's
behavior. The options on the right specify how THINK Reference copies
Toolbox call templates into the clipboard for use with programming
environments.
Speed Search Error Beeps Option
When this option is on, and Speed Search can't find a hyperlink that
matches what you've typed, you'll hear a beep.
Animation Effects Option
When this option is checked, THINK Reference uses an animation effect like
zooming when you follow a hyperlink or change pages. When this option is
off, THINK Reference changes pages faster.
Startup Iconized Option
When this options is checked, THINK Reference starts up in the
small icon mode. If this option is off, THINK Reference start up with the
Traps A-Z page.
Autoswitch on Iconize Option
This option is useful if you're using a program that can look up entries in
THINK Reference. Suppose you ask your program to look something up and
then you click the Iconize button. When this option is checked, THINK
Reference returns you to your program. When this option is unchecked,
THINK Reference doesn't switch out of THINK Reference.
Copy Template Options
These options let you choose how the Copy Template command copies
templates into the clipboard. The radio buttons let you choose whether you
want the template to be in C or in Pascal. The check boxes let you choose
whether spaces should come before or after paren theses of commas.
